When is a carry-on bag with priority boarding included?

Some customers will have a 10kg carry-on bag with priority boarding included in their booking, please see the list below. If a 10kg bag is included, you must take this on board with you. You will not be permitted to drop this bag off at check-in.
  • AerClub - Silver, Platinum and Concierge AerClub members. (Members only, not travelling companions.)
  • Fare Types - All Plus, Advantage, Aer Credit Card, AerSpace and Economy fares purchased via British Airways. (Not included in Saver fares.)
  • Infants - Accompanying adult travelling with an infant.
  • Connections - Customers connecting to/from an Aer Lingus transatlantic flight or a connecting flight with an interline partner.
The Avios ticket was sold by BA and will bear BA's 125 IATA prefix not the EI 053 one "economy fares purchased via British Airways"

Can I add seats or bags to my Avios reward bookings?
A 20kg bag and a 10kg carry-on bag are included on Avios reward flights, but it is possible to purchase a seat preference, an additional bag or special equipment by contacting Aer Lingus up to 4 hours before departure. Avios bookings cannot be managed on aerlingus.com, but if you need to change your itinerary, you can contact Avios directly on avios.com.
