Hello everyone,

How does AMEX Lounge access work when I have reported my card as damaged?

My kids and I have the same first initial and last name. If I report my card as damaged, get a new one in the mail, then give them the old one to go travel with, would they be able to access lounges? Do the lounges confirm that the card is valid even if its within the expiry date? (I'm obviously not talking about priority pass lounges)
