First of all, for reference, Aegean calls their "points" Miles&Bonus miles, not points.

An award ticket has absolutely nothing to do with the "miles and cash" option. For the latter you simply make a very regular "cash" booking and by logging in to your Miles&Bonus account before or during the booking process (you are presented with the option to log in at step 2 of the booking process) you can redeem miles as a "payment method" at the very last step of the booking.

To book an award ticket you absolutely need to log in to your account and then go to "my Miles&Bonus account" and then under "miles redemption" click on the "Award ticket" option.
However, if have less than 5000 miles you won't be able to book any award tickets.
My apologies that my articulation was confusing.

When I go to "my Miles&Bonus account" and then under "miles redemption", there is no "Award ticket" option to select. I see that you mention one must have 5000 miles “to book any award tickets,” but do you have to have 5000 miles just to see what flights are available as awards?
