The APEC travel card should basically mean more or less zero wait at immigration. As for entry requirements, you need to complete the visit Japan website, and would need a boosted vaccination to make entry easy. If you are not boosted, you will need a PCR test in advance. I am assuming that these requirements will more or less be gone by mid May timing when covid gets downgraded to same status as flu.

Generally speaking, the connection time should be fine.
Very helpful, thanks for your prompt response. The entire itinerary is on JL, so if they give me the BP for my connection at NRT then essentially all I have to do is basically a bag drop at the check-in counter, provided my bag has already been tagged, or otherwise get a new tag printed out on the basis of my BP etc. My anxiety is basically being able to get to NRT in time, as I just have about 20 minutes before check-in cut off (as it's 60 minutes before departure time from what I understand) when I arrive at NRT at the terminal. Cutting it fine but the alternative to connect straight through HND is a lot higher fare. Glad to hear the APEC card should work to get me out of immigration at HND and through immigration at NRT fast. I guess I will miss out on chilling in the lounge and having a shower but what to do. So, I think I will do it and gird my loins to run the gauntlet.
