I have had the Bonvoy Boundless for many years with a $5k credit line. I keep the card solely for the 35k cert.
The $95 annual fee for this card was charged last September and the 35k cert has been used.
As I understand it, the RC Signature Visa requires a $10k minimum credit line so a direct product swap for me won't work.
I have several other Chase cards, specifically an IHG MC with a $20k+ credit line that is rarely used.
Can I move $7,500 credit from the IHG MC to the Boundless Visa and after the credit line is adjusted to $12.5k then request the PC to the RC Visa???
Will Chase move credit from a MC credit line to a Visa credit line?
Anything else I may be missing???
Not answering your particular situation specifically, but you don't need to move credit line to your Boundless before PC. If you request a PC and you need a certain credit line for such approval, you should be given options as to from where to shift your credit line. That way, if you are not eligible to PC for some reason, you won't get stuck with a higher credit line on your Boundless unless you don't care either way.
