Green dot is saying this is gift card scam but they haven't issued a refund yet. There is no liability on green to act so basically they are ignoring it. I filed complaints with CFPB, state attorney's office, BBB and FTC. Should I dispute the charges with credit card company? I received the bonus from the CC already. Created a case with walmart.com, they came back and said deal with green dot. Green dot tell me their terms says gift card is like a cash, it wasn't registered and funds were removed before it was registered then they are not liable for it. They said to file a fraud complain with FTC. The back office says the case is pending but I have zero hopes from GD.
