What a joke!
I used the Platinum Concierge for the first time this week. My experience was unimpressive to say the least. I had two requests: an attempt to get theatre tickets to a sold out show and dinner reservations (at a decent restaurant) on New Years Eve.
The response I got was that the hotel had a New Years Eve dinner (for over $200 per person) and that the show was sold out. If I wanted to know that the show was sold out, I could check that on the Web faster than calling SPG and if I wanted to eat at the hotel, I would have said so. I consider this response almost an insult -- and the fact that it took them 2 days to tell me nothing was definitely an insult.
William, do the Platinum Concierges receive any training? Even in common sense?
