Bumping this thread. I just spoke with Marriott reservations who said the hotel was "open already."
I mentioned that there are no reservations available via the app or online until the first week of April and the response was "no, I see the hotel is already open"
Anyone have any news? Or perhaps what happens if the opening date gets bumped, how they will handle those with upcoming reservations?
I walked by today: the signage is up, but there’s still paper covering the windows. It’s definitely not open yet. However with interior curtains fitted, that’s a good sign they are close.
Best case Marriott moves you to another property. Do you have enough points to hold another reservation elsewhere, or perhaps make a points advance reservation while you still can?
Otherwise, forget corporate and try and contact the hotel directly? They’ll know more than a call center.
