This is 'normal', every day a random (probably intelligence led) selection of flights that are assessed to be coming from a safe origin and uncontroversial passengers are tipped out onto the main concourse avoiding transit security. It's not new, but it really is random. If QR12 gets the treatment today, there's no guarantee it will get it any other day this week.
Landed in DOH from AUH early doors this morning and after the bus in from a remote stand we were indeed funnelled in to the transit screening area.. from where we emerged near to the giant Teddy Bear
