Saw a few award flights on AA site --- JAL first to a couple of cities in Southeast Asia this summer (with a layover in HND), however, when I try to book it, the dreaded "choose a different flight or fare" pops up after clicking continue. I tried a couple of different city combinations (LAX/SFO/SEA to SGN, MNL, BKK) and although there's availability, I can't seem to get it to book. Has anyone experienced issues with booking AA award tix recently? the AA site just plays with my emotions...i get excited seeing availability, but eventually am let down . Domestic award flights and flights on other OW carriers to Europe seem to book just fine
