The lowest base fare for Dub-HNL currently filed is around 1900 GBP without taxes, so I would suggest you change your departure airport. Read back a few pages in this thread or search HNL on the BA forum will suggest some different starting points
Stopovers are allowed on the fare but are prohibitively expensive at Euro 600 for those in the US / Canada / Mexico, so push the fare into much higher pricing.
I've looked quite a bit lately and I can't find anything below £2150 or so from any airport; tried the usuals like DUB, BUD, PRG, etc.. Last year there was a great fare from BUD to various Hawaii destinations for like £1600 odd. There was also a flash sale in Jan for a long list of airports to Hawaii for around £1500. It didn't last long and it was on before my dates were available. I'm going to spend 10 days after Christmas on Oahu and I will happily pay £2150 if I have to. Would be nice if another great deal popped up though.
