If you're just looking to get the TPs as cheaply as possible, you might want to consider an nested back to back from a regional UK airport to somewhere in 80 TP territory - e.g. a BAH booking for EDI-LHR-OTP, 5+ days' hotel/car hire, OTP-LHR-EDI, then a separate OTP-LHR-OTP booking for the corresponding flights operated by the same aircraft.
That would earn you 640 TPs and likely avoid you actually having to spend any nights away from home, other than perhaps at your UK regional origin/dest. See
