Hi,

I'm AA EXP but first time ever booking a Basic Economy fare. I was a bit paranoid booking basic economy but am certain I needed flight so figured I might as well save $40 for basic economy since my understanding is that they are now upgrade eligible: https://www.aa.com/i18n/travel-info/...ic-economy.jsp

However I booked ticket over a week ago but reservation continues to show "Not Offered" for upgrade in app. In browser, it does not show anything for upgrades either.

Is this a bug with app? I am wondering if I need to call AA to request upgrade or if I will automatically get on list when time is closer. I don't understand why it shows "Not offered" when it should be upgrade eligible from my understanding.
