This sounds very risky to me, and I want to change it but looks like the only palatable option is to come into LAX the night before. If it matters, I am a 1K and this is booked in Polaris.

Should I change my flight?
I’m surprised there isn’t an early morning flight out of PHX that gets in well before departure of any int’l flights.

Maybe ask UA to send you to SFO or DEN or IAH instead?

50 minutes at LAX is definitely OK if inbound on time. Just screws up opportunity to eat in Polaris Lounge instead of facing the misery of the onboard slop.
