This sounds very risky to me, and I want to change it but looks like the only palatable option is to come into LAX the night before. If it matters, I am a 1K and this is booked in Polaris.

Should I change my flight?
Does PHX-SFO-LHR have a better connection? If yes, I would definitely change it. PHX-DEN-LAX is another possibility, but DEN does not have a PL.
The answer is either yes or no, depending upon your tolerance level. If PL access is important, definitely change to PHX-SFO-LHR.
