Made rez about a month ago for a one way from neighborhood location to airport location two hours drive away (for mid March). Got a message today that they canceled my rez bc they don’t have available OW fleet but that I could try the local airport for pickup. Local airport pickup is more than double the cost and who’s to say they won’t also cancel? I’m pretty irritated bc my flight was booked according to my ability to get that OW rental. I have no other options. I understand that they don’t guarantee (or that’s what the rep told me when I called), but how are people supposed to plan any travel if they can just cancel a rez?
