It would make sense; there was an A320 (N855VA) with Giants livery that was retired last month.
The next flight out of gate D4 is N936AK, which just spent 4 days at PAE (presumably getting repainted). It's fittingly flying SFO-PHX (with a ferry flight number? AS9201), where the Giants' spring training just began.
