Comments: I don't know if I'd really call this an upgrade. While I prefer the higher floor to distance myself from street noise, the only view I have is that of the buildings across the street. With a single king bed this room actually feels relatively spacious, with plenty of space to walk around. 1600 checkout granted without even having to ask. Took the breakfast, which is in a portion of the not-quite-hotel bar; limited menu but the omelet I had was pretty good.
