As soon as CX announced the CX 830/831 flights, I tried to get an "A" seat. None were available and I was waitlisted, which cleared about a week later, some five months before the flight. This all happened back in March before the flight started, so things may have changed.

In any event, I wouldn't be too upset if you don't get on CX 831. While not a bad flight, I did not find it up to the usual CX standards. I wrote a report about it. You can do a search under my name in Trip Reports if you are interested.
