  • Walked to the US District Courthouse in Downtown Hartford
  • Walked to a bus stop and rode the 30X to BDL
Currently transit is free on CT Transit Buses through March 31st which made it an even more appealing option.
I've done PVD (Providence, RI) trips that were a fun use of various transit options.

Walk from hotel to Providence train station.
Amtrak or T to Boston South Station.
Walk to water taxi.
Water taxi to a drop off point near BOS.
Bus to BOS.

(You can skip the water taxi and just take a bus from South Station to BOS, but when the weather is nice the water taxi is fun....if you have the time.)
