What gives?

My First AS visit ever right now, and there’s tons of staff, none super friendly, bartender doesn’t have any champagne better than LP, but trying. Soup was poor, shrimp/prawns were tasty but seemed reheated ?

Ventured to Al Mourjan North based on the LP Alexandra tip in this thread (thank you!) and to check it out - huge space, friendly staff. One staff member explained the buffet options and that they could assist, etc. Had a perfect medium steak FROM THE BUFFET. Asked if they had LP Alexandra - indeed they do so I’m sipping it here with frequent top-ups instead of Al Safwa, which doesn’t have it. No Grey Goose at AS but plenty here, too.

Waiter came by to see if I wanted a salad or sandwich. Great service!





I know onboard will be great but this is a real letdown for my first AS experience.

*note: during day, some construction noise in AM North, on one side.
