My booking is in September so I have time, but I want to add days in Tanzania to this trip - or book a different vacation if they won’t honor the rate.
I agree that the decision will be made above the call center level, but I called Bonvoy customer service yesterday and specifically asked if the reservation would be honored and was told unequivocally yes, that the booking wouldn’t be canceled and I was all set. It would be a really bad look for Marriott corporate to change its tune later.
