I applaud this point especially. BA do as a rule treat Economy pax as a lower caste while fawning over those in the forward cabins, and I think it is lost on them that today's weekender may be Monday morning's big spender. It is one of those unstated but evident biases that have soured me on BA culture and service practice. That said it may have been a physical impossibility to get every inconvenienced pax out of Moscow that night, and if they had to set priorities, pax on more expensive or refundable tickets should be in the front of the queue.

If I actually got a gift hamper out of an event like this I think I would take some pleasure in driving over it, taking snaps of the debris and sending them to Waterside.
