not sure why you had the idea to show them a picture of a card, I can't imagine any scenario in which this would work. Is there a reason you even have photos of cards??? Honestly if someone tried that with me I would instantly assume they're trying to pull one over on me and it would be very difficult to get me to reverse that assessment.
I had a picture of the card because it was brand new and I activated it for her while I was at work. I thought it might help after they denied her entry. There’s really no way of pulling a fast one since I had to show our boarding passes to prove we were both flying on Delta and the boarding passes were scanned for entry.
Being it was my very first time at a Skyclub it didn’t even occur to me to try to pay the fee then work with Amex. I figured it was a Delta issue. I wish I had thought to do that.
