I don't expect to be offered a lower starting bid based on my status. It just defies logic that two passengers booked on the exact same flight and paying the exact same fare and looking to bid at the exact same time should be offered different entry bids. I'm just curious as to how this can come about.

Then again much that Qantas does defies logic and with the sad state of their IT I shouldn't be surprised. Very much a first world problem so I'm not going to loose any sleep over it.
