You are less likely to have weather related issues in February in DFW than in ORD. On the other hand, when connecting in DFW from AA71 to a domestic flight you will arrive at the A terminal and then probably leave from C. We had to exit (after customs and rechecking our bags), hop on a bus and go through security again. It was a complete cluster f*ck and we almost missed our connection as the first class/platinum security line was 45 mins long (everbody is plt in DFW). When we expressed our displeasure to AA, they could care less and stated that that is how it is at DFW with international connections.
