Flew AMS-AUS in Premium Comfort earlier this month and was pleasantly surprised by the food.



Chicken ‘gado-gado’, Waldorf salad, cheese and bottle of cava. Not sure if champagne will be offered when the worldwide shortage which seems to affect KLM only is over next month?


Mid flight snack, ‘broodje kroket’ with an espresso martini (interesting combination, I know). The espresso martini is pre-mixed and wasn’t bad, though it was a bit on the sweet side. The FA suggested to add some wodka when I mentioned this, which I did not decline..


Pre-arrival meal, duck poké bowl with a hot apple pie. This meal was especially good and a nice upgrade over the usual stuff you’d get before arrival

Overall, I found it a very solid product. Having flown LH/SK/UA in Premium Eco as well in the last months I found KL to have the best offering by far.
