I have the AMEX Delta Reserve Card of which I am the primary car holder. I added two additional cards, one for my daughter (age 14) and one for Mr. Dracarys. I obtained the cards in January of 2023 and paid $900 in annual fees ($550=$175+$175=$900.) The new updated Delta Reserve Amex Skyclub terms say that I get two guest passes per year to use, then I would pay $39 per guest.

Here is the question/issue: In January, my daughter, a reserve card holder and I were flying LAX to RSW. We arrived at LAX and entered the Skyclub about 2.5 hours before our departure. I provided the agent with my DL AMEX Reserve Card and my boarding pass. My daughter did not have her card with her, but we had a picture of the card (front and back with her name on it) and her boarding pass. Unfortunately, they would not let her in as an authorized card holder and if we wanted entry I would have to use one of my guest passes to get her in. I used the pass, thinking I would sort it out with Delta later.

I reached out to Delta via email and explained what happened and asked (kindly) for the return of my guest pass. I stressed that I was not "trying to get something for nothing" since she is a valid cardholder and unfortunately we did not have the physical card in our possession. The response was a hard no, and after a few emails back and forth, they will not return the guest pass as a one time courtesy and advised they will no longer reply to correspondence regarding this matter.

I currently have 5 upcoming flights scheduled on Delta in the next 3 months and I would like to use that guest pass on my son who is 12. I realize it is only $39 dollars, and I could have opted not to use the pass for my daughter or use the Skyclub at all, but after spending $900 in fees, I didn't think it would be a big deal to return the pass as a 1 time courtesy.

Should I try another avenue to get the pass back? Anyone with a similar experience?

P.S. This was my very first time in a Skyclub and it was fabulous!!!!!! I got to have a beer and watch football while she did her homework...it was heaven!!!!
