AA's web site is fabulous - I love it! In my opinion it far exceeds BA's in terms of functionality and booking options.

I have been buying the bulk of my leisure fares on BA through American Airlines. I don't know why this is, but time after time after time AA offer lower fare booking classes long after BA runs out. This has saved me a small fortune so far this year. (Cats out of the bag now)

There is a downside though - paper tickets need 5 working days to be processed and posted out. I am hopeless at organising my time and am forever leaving things till the very last minute.

Another bugbear is that I don't collect the full BA Miles bonus when I use my BA Amex. However, the savings on fares more than makes up for that.

Anyway, great news that an e-ticket option is coming.
