Even if I can make that shuttle by 11:30, I'm not sure what to expect in terms of security or passport control hours and waits at that time.

Regarding the Sheraton CDG...
What a gong show at CDG! Wanted to follow up on this since in the end, this wound up being pretty comical. I arrived Sunday midnight in 2B on BA from LHR. I didn't realize that 2C and 2D are completely CLOSED for renovation which means that there is no obvious way to walk from 2B to and thru 2C where the Sheraton claims they are located and onward to 2E/2F. It took me 45 minutes to navigate my way including a visit to the 2C/2D parking garage. I finally found a working elevator that actually did get me to the departures level of a deserted 2C where all the exit doors were locked. I followed signs to "Hotels" only to find construction barricades at one end of the terminal. I then walked to other end of 2C to find yet another construction barricade. OMG, I may be stuck here for weeks! Fortunately there was a lone security person sitting behind the last check in counter, and who was obviously surprised to see anyone. Never were the words "Est-ce que je peux vous aider" more welcoming. He pointed to a small unmarked wooden construction door in the wall of construction plywood blocking the entire end of the concourse. It was unlocked and mercifully on the other side was civilization and life after 2C... moving walkways towards the Sheraton (which is really not in 2C) and eventually 2E/2F.
Once there, the Sheraton is perfectly fine for an overnight stay. Excellent and welcoming staff. My Platinum status was recognized and was upgraded to the Club Floor with full Lounge access although I departed too early to use it.
