The reverse herringbone layout means that everyone is facing away from the aisle and each other. You'd have to make a point of turning right around to look to see what someone else is doing or watching, but then you could also take a look over the door of qsuite if you felt that way inclined. Yes they are doorless but I suspect that once you partially recline your seat you won't really be aware of who's around you and what they are doing, nor they you. Other passengers TVs, for example, are much more distracting in the A380 F seats than they are in J.
And it's nothing like the VS and NZ herringbone seats where everyone was lined up facing into the aisle and each other, like some sort of care home in the sky.
I was comparing them to the VS Upper Class which I hate. It's good to know they are better!
