It’s the first thing you see as you go down the escalator and has a prominent sign.

When I arrived on the 55 last week we were well over an hour late by the time we disembarked, immigration was empty (I just went to usual desks for non South African passport holders), picked up the bags, checked-in for Capetown, and was in the SLOW lounge within 30 mins of getting off the plane.

There are two busy arrival periods at JNB. One around 07:00-08:00 and the other 09:00-10:00. I’ve noticed before that a delay of an hour or so puts the arrival of 55 into a fairly quiet period and one usually breezes through (not that it’s too bad if there’s a queue, they process people pretty swiftly there anyway).
