Given all that, seems to me going for a BBP (2X on everything up to $50K a year) would be an easy choice -- no fee, no hard pull, as good a deal on non-category spend as there is. And no reason to PC to it even if you could (again, no hard pull, no 5/24 impact) since a PC won't give the sign up bonus. Apply and get the SUB. And THEN cancel the other card if it no longer fits in your strategy.

I see above in the thread you seem to know business cards don't hit 5/24, so maybe I'm just confused why you are asking about a PC to a BBP and mentioning you are concerned about 5/24 as a reason to not apply for a new card.
Yes, I'm well aware of all the 5/24 rules. I am also thinking of getting cards that will give me big SUB--consumer & business. Thoughts don't always flow well from brain to paper. I can see why you were confused. Also juggling P2's "card future". It would have been crystal clear if I had just added the word "personal" :.....I don't want to apply for a new [personal] card b/c I'm already at 6/24....

When my biz Green is up for renewal I'll probably apply for a no AF biz card "assuming" I have any MR left by then.

Thanks for the response.
