If I cancel, what happens to baggage fees? No “Works”

This is my first foray into Frontier and I am having difficulty answering a question. I’m booked in two weeks on a flight I can keep but would prefer to use a different airline and cancel the Frontier flight (it’s honestly just about the time of the flight so I will suck it up if I have to). Ticket purchased with a carry on bag. If I cancel the ticket, I know I have to pay a $49 fee bc two weeks out. Do I get the baggage fee back if I don’t fly? Website is unclear about this other than to say you can’t refund your baggage fee AND fly.

Also as a side note, I see I would only have 90 days to use the flight credit. At this point Frontier’s schedule to my city for the next 90 days has been gutted. I think DEN might be all that’s left. And even then it’s weird days of the week. And connections aren’t anywhere I’d want to go. This is why I’m asking about baggage fee. If I have to forfeit the ticket cost, fine, but adding the baggage fee loss makes it less attractive. Bc all this is x4. I actually bought the discount den when I purchased these tix bc it saved me nearly the membership fee. But now I doubt I will fly Frontier at all this year.
