Mileage earning opportunity of the year? Palmiers - not huge amounts of miles, but I loved the concept

Best value flight of the year (excluding awards)? £65 LBA-LHR on BD, cheaper than the train, with lounge access at both ends.

Special offer of the year (non-flight)? PC's ongoing points fest...

Biggest f***-up of the year? Not booking a cancellable flight to BRU

Biggest pain in the derriere mileage partner? Thistle hotels and stupid minimum spend rules, and what counts as "london"

Biggest let down of the year? On-going erosion of KLM perks, continually announced in the smallest print imaginable.....

Best flight of the year? LHR-BRU-LHR - not a great flight, but outstanding company

Worst flight of the year? Charter flight to Crete. OMDFG. Yes, my boobs do require a certain amount of space, trust me, they don't squash much smaller than that

Best travel discovery of the year (physical)? Crete. Loved it, want to go back - but this time not a charter.

Best travel discovery of the year (non-physical)? PC bonus codes. Tescos.

Hotel of the year? CP St James. Always wanted to stay there, now I have and it was faultless.

Wierdest travel experience of the year? A day trip to BRU that meant we spent 2 hours in the airport lounge, as no time to go anywhere else. 2) showtunes in a piano bar in London.

Worst travel experience of the year? Did i mention my charter flight?

Regret of the year? Not having enough money to support the travel I would like to do

Do of the year Out of a multitude of fab events throughout the year, the piano bar in London stands out by a short head from the Espionage tour in Edinburgh. Thanks to all of you who attended all of them, and made them such fun

Thing I'm looking forward to in 2005? Moving to a warmer house. Hopefully Canada. Many more FT events, flights and mileage earning opportunities
