It's crazy how off the radar the Philippines is compared to Thailand and even Vietnam these days. TBH, the horror stories about making a connection at NAIA certainly don't help when considering Boracay for a vacation. I had a couple of extra vacation days to burn in late 2022 and I toyed with the idea of going to MNL but I settled on the much closer and easier YVR instead. Hopefully someday I'll make it out to the Philippines.
