Is there a direct number to the AA award ticketing department? I requested for an award on CX and an award on JAL to be ticketed yesterday. The CX was ticketed within hours. Miles for both award reservations were deducted from my AA account. But the JAL award still shows on hold. My credit card shows that taxes and fees for the JAL award was charged for 1 person (but 2 persons in the JAL award reservation).

When I called AA, they tried to give me this BS that they are still ticketing Feb and Mar tickets and asking me to wait. When I told them that the miles were deducted, but taxes and and fees were charged for only 1 out of 2 persons, that indicated that something is wrong with the ticketing process. They tried to reach ticketing, put me on hold for a long time. Then came back and said they'll try to ticket it in 48 hours. When I asked what caused this error? The agent didn't know and transferred me to her supervisor. The supervisor didn't know and put me on hold while trying to contact ticketing dept. That means the first agent didn't even speak to ticketing. She just brushed me off and when I questioned further, she passed me to her supervisor and the supervisor hung on me while "holding for the ticketing dept.".

These AA agents are new. They don't know anything. The worse part is, instead of helping escalate, they brush you off, repeatedly! AA did not use to be like this. Now my reservation is in limbo. The miles have been deducted for 2 persons, taxes and fees charged for 1 person, but no ticket issued.

Does any one know who I can speak with in AA to help resolve this, other than the International Award Reservation Department at 800-433-7300?
