An odd question, but a friend of mine in Quito has asked me to bring him an empty firearm clip from the US when we travel there. I couldn't find anything online about restrictions. This is not a gun or ammo, but just the empty clip that you put the ammo in. Anyone know about whether or not this is permitted? I know there are tight restrictions on firearms, but couldn't find anything out about accessories. Apparently the cost is quite high there, so he asked me to bring one down for him.
