I'm planning a trip to French Polynesia in June, which will include four nights on the island of Moorea, in addition to Bora Bora (Four Seasons and St. Regis) and the Brando. For Moorea, the only luxury options seem to be Sofitel and Hilton. Although these properties are not in the same league as the other hotels in the country, Moorea seems to be worth visiting, so I'd like to pick the best possible option. Decision factors include overall luxury feel, quietness (the less family-friendly the better), views and marine life. If you have any recommendations, that'd be extremely helpful.
