There really not very much here for insurance. There's the car insurance of course which is the best thing. And travel medical and trip cancellation. But other than that there's only "convenience" type things like purchase protection for 120 days, $100/day for delayed bags, or $500 for trip delay. These kinds of insurance are mostly about peace of mind rather than insuring against financially crippling losses.
In the case of a stolen bag there's nothing other than purchase protection for anything I bought recently on the card. There's no coverage for lost or stolen bags either checked or carry-on. I guess homeowner's insurance would be the thing for this but it isn't relevant in this case.
My other credit card has coverage for lost/stolen checked bags or burglary from a hotel room. That wouldn't help with a carry-on though, even if this ticket had been on it.
