EC261 always applies to all flights out of EU and all EU airline flights into EU.

EC261 contains a lot more than just the compensation. That said this would be a weird one to determine. Flight is still operating, but the ticket is cancelled. But the operating airline is the one responsible to compensate. But the flight is operating!


re. the vouchers I suppose the airline determined that vouchers are no longer needed and it can refund directly within 7 days?
