I'm looking for options to book a FRA-SFO RT in Oct, in J.

Looking on SAS website, noticed the redemption rate is not encouraging: about 550k to pay with points.
I would rather pay cash than this many points.

My points are on Amex and I'm a *A Gold, if it matters.
I wonder if there's a better way of booking this trip with SAS or if there are any offers/bargains similar with what LH group is publishing periodically on MM.

Looked on Eurobonus page but nothing pops up.
