You have to show your ticket. Doesn't have to be paper. You can show it on your phone as well. I haven't carried a paper ticket for almost 4 years now.

Have never used an ATM at the airport but I've seen ATMs in T2 so you should be fine.

Also, just so you are aware, once you check in at T2, you won't be allowed to leave the terminal. So in the event you need to go to T3, you will have to do so before you check-in.
