What dates are you able to travel? AS fares have been historically high, often outrageous, especially along the West Coast. What is a comfortable budget? Are you open to Saver fares? Do you have any Gold Guest Upgrade certificates? An AA repoitioning flight along the East Coast or to an AS midcon city may be fruitful too. There are a lot of variables; where you start, schedules, connections over layovers over stopovers, city pairs, through fares, coaxing out additional segments and the order of flights flown all without breaking the bank.

Many thanks for offering to help, that is very kind of you. Here are the answers to your questions:
1. Start point: BWI (Ideally) or DCA (2nd choice)
2. Dates: Aug 26-27 (Possibly 28)
3. Budget: Ideally <USD1k (Maybe 2 round trips BWI-SEA-SFO-LAX might achieve that?)
4. Gold certificates: None
5. Saver fares: Sure
6. Schedules: Ideally just finish it all as quickly as possible, I don't even mind if that means 2 trans-con returns immediately one after another without a hotel in the middle. Brutal, but otherwise the wife (Who isn't a fan of the whole scheme to begin with!) will probably not let me do this anyway.
Maybe one more factor: I am, as mentioned earlier, a CX Diamond = OW Emerald right now. I saw that AS offers status matches / challenges, but apparently not with CX or SQ. Is there any easier / better way that you can think of how I could earn / be (part-) comped to OWE from my current statuses and flying plans?
