A little off topic, but I bought two items in paris that I was entitled to a vat refund. One was a le cruset dish which I just scanned and put in the box .. no interaction with staff. The second was some mid range jewelry that the customs officer asked to see. The le cruset refund appeared within a week, and as of now, the refund for the jewelry has not appeared. I actually sent an email to the detaxe company last week who answered the next day that they could see the customs stamp on nov 3 2022 and that refund is in process, but nothing has appreared as of yet.
