The web display is hopeless, but the app display makes sense (although it sure could be clearer). Remember that the promotion is in effect a way to retroactively have hit the requalification last year (2022), for status this year. So, the app is showing that based on having hit the threshold last year or because of the promotion, you get to retain Diamond status during 2023, and if you reach the ## nights / stays / points threshold this year (in 2023), you'll retain status during 2024.
