Never mind the poor good quality, UA food also don't come out well in pictures (yes, I realize one is a night time flight, on UA, and the other is a day time flight, on AA). UA flights are often set to as dark as possible, with UA FAs (and even some pax) policing windows must be shut even on day time flights.
