I dont really know where this question goes, and dont even know how to ask it to search for a prior post.
When booking govt travel, on occasion they will mix carriers on a reservation. When this happens, I think I have read here that the first airline on the res owns the reservation.
I cant go back in and select an E+ seat, and I cant request or even buy an upgrade online because I get a message that the partner controls the seat assignments.
Can I call and have this fixed, or what would be the best way to fix?
For example, I have a trip in a few weeks, and UA isnt available on the outbound, but IS on the return. I am going to TRY booking the return first, and once its created, adding the outbound.
Sorry, like I said, I dont even know how to ask the question.
