I am leaning on this forum’s wealth of knowledge to advise my EU 261 compensation rights under the following circumstances:

BA2707 Tenerife to London Gatwick. Informed upon arrival at check in the flight departure is postponed from 2005 hrs yesterday to 1400 today. No alternative routing offered. Hotel and food provided.

I am unsure if this will entitle me to EUR 400 or EUR 600 / person under EU261 rules. Could someone clarify?

Secondly, may I claim for my 4 month old son who doesn’t have a seat but is obviously a passenger?
