Hi All,

I'm booked on MAN-JFK on VS Upper Class on 30/12/2023 and they have just cancelled and moved my flight to the following day.

I've just called them up about re-book options for the original day. I was hoping to re-book via other Sky Team routes, however I can't (apparently), due to one of the tickets being an award ticket and complications with partners.

VS say the only other option is LHR-JFK where there is loads of award availability.

I've asked the VS agent about them including a a BA MAN-LHR segment into the booking. They couldn't do it, but have given me a customer services email address to contact to confirm but I'm not confident with the information that they gave me.

- Is it common/possible to have a BA domestic segment in a VS booking?
- VS suggested that customer services may agree to reimburse my own BA booking and that BA would interline the luggage at check-in. The interlining bit sounds a bit dubious.
- Any other potential suggestions to get me to JFK on the day

Appreciate this is a mostly VS issue, but you guys are always extremely knowledgable and helpful :-)
